Frequently Asked Questions

Yoga Studio Policies

  • Arrive at least 5 minutes prior to class. If you come late, please walk-in quietly and place your mat in the back of the classroom to not disturb any other students.

  • If you are a new student, please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the class start time in order to get set up and meet the instructor.

  • Wear comfortable and loose clothing that permits freedom of movement.

  • Please observe basic hygiene when attending a yoga class.

  • Refrain from wearing perfume, cologne, or scented oils during class, as some people do have allergies.

  • We encourage students to bring their own yoga mat; however, loaner mats are available at no charge.

  • You may bring a water bottle (water is also available) and a hand towel. All other props are provided.

  • Leave all personal items under the benches at the studio.

  • In order for us to preserve our floors, we ask that you take off shoes before entering the yoga room.

  • Consistent yoga practice is necessary to obtain maximum benefits. Remember to rest when necessary, to work at your individual level, and to respect your body’s current physical state.

  • You will be charged for classes that you register for but do not attend. Please cancel within 2 hours of the start time so that you will not be charged.

  • Class packages can only be used for regularly scheduled yoga classes and exclude special workshops, events, and series. They expire 3 months from the first class attended. If you need an extenstion consideration, please email harmony@nourishingstorm.com

  • We reserve the right to cancel a class or program, but we will make every attempt to provide additional classes.
