Yogi of the Month- March 2024

“My journey to practicing yoga started out of curiosity about 10 years ago. I walked into a studio in search of flexibility and peace of mind. The hardest part initially was last 2 minutes of the practice. Shavasana. My mind could not deal with being quiet, and that led me to pursue the practice because after being able to connect to the meditation even for a few moments, I felt better. Since then, I’ve met like thinking people in the yogi community, who supported me and confirmed that they had similar hurdles. I enjoy the physical challenge as well as mental. Meditation became more frequent practice in my life over the years. I’ve met wonderful people in the yogi community of Nourishing Storm, which made my experience so much more valuable.”
