Yogi of the Month- June 2026
“Yoga is important to me because it has helped me reconnect with myself and prioritize my health again. Before I had children, staying active and taking care of my physical and mental well-being was a regular part of my life. Once I became a mother, my focus naturally shifted to raising my family, and finding time for myself became much more difficult. While I wouldn’t change those years for anything, it often meant putting my own needs on the back burner.
Now that my children are grown, I have the opportunity to focus on myself again, and yoga has become an important part of that journey. What makes it especially meaningful is that my daughter became a yoga instructor. There is something incredibly rewarding about watching her share her knowledge and passion with others, including me. For so many years, I was the one teaching, guiding, and supporting her as she grew. Now, in a beautiful way, our roles have come full circle, and she is helping me grow and better myself. Through yoga, I am not only improving my health, strength, and mindfulness, but I am also creating special memories and spending quality time with one of my favorite people. That connection is what makes yoga so meaningful to me.”
