Kristin Ritter
Founder of Nourishing Storm, Director of Wellness, Holistic Health Coach, & 500 RYT Yoga Instructor
“Whatever happens, just keep smiling and lose yourself in love.” - Rumi
Kristin set out on her wellness path in 2002, inspired by a deep desire to help others heal and discover well-being through movement, awareness, and nutrition. After earning her certification as an AFAA Group Fitness Instructor, she found yoga—and instantly fell in love with the peace it brought her and the sense of connection she felt with every living being.
She went on to earn her 200-hour RYT in Vinyasa Flow Yoga, igniting a lifelong journey of growth and deeper understanding. That same passion led her to open Nourishing Storm Wellness Company in Hatboro, PA, a community space dedicated to movement, mindfulness, and creativity.
In 2019, Kristin completed her 500-hour RYT certification through Shanti Yoga School and co-founded the “Root to Rise” Vinyasa Flow Teacher Training School with fellow Storm teachers.
Her passion for holistic living deepened during her first pregnancy, when she recognized how profoundly our bodies, thoughts, and actions are shaped by what we eat. She turned to nature for nourishment and has never looked back. Kristin later graduated from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition® as a Holistic Health Coach and continues to guide clients at Nourishing Storm and beyond through mindful eating, movement, and self-discovery.
In her ongoing journey to support others in healing and growth, Kristin is currently pursuing her Master’s in Counseling Psychology at Delaware Valley University, working toward LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) certification. Through this next chapter of study, she hopes to bridge her background in yoga and holistic wellness with counseling practices that nurture the mind, body, and spirit.
When she’s not on her mat, cooking up a storm, or exploring the next trail or paddle board spot, Kristin can be found reading, writing, and reflecting on wellness. Her life’s work continues to center around creating harmony between yoga and food—making soulful, healthy living accessible, joyful, and nourishing for all.
Kristin is also the author of Spiraling to Wellness (2018) and Spiraling to Wellness Layer 2 (2019), books that explore universal themes of growth and healing through stories, practices, recipes, and reflections. Join the spiraling journey! Join the spiraling journey!
