Jon Twersky

Meditation Instructor

Jon began practicing mindfulness meditation in 2006 while working with a mentor who  introduced him to Buddhist psychology. Establishing a daily practice was an integral  aspect of his studies, one that provided a sense of discipline along with an opening of  heart and mind. Jon believes that mindfulness meditation strengthens human  connection, noting that personal practice is not just for ourselves but for the benefit of  others.  

Jon’s studies include the Power of Awareness program with Jack Kornfield and Tara  Brach, the Yearlong Buddhist Studies program with Ethan Nichtern and Dharma Moon,  and the 100 hour Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Training with Dharma Moon under the  guidance of David Nichtern. Off the cushion Jon teaches ceramics, enjoys making  pottery, and spending time with his wife and children.
