How long have you been practicing yoga?
Approximately 12 years

How did yoga find you?
I was introduced to yoga through a fitness training called Powercentering which was a combination of yoga, pilates, and Tai Chi.  I got certified in it and began teaching it at the chiropractic office where I was working at the time.  I really loved it!  I was pregnant and felt like I was in the best shape of my life and this was my primary form of exercise.  A few years later I started doing yoga at a small studio and loved the personal attention.  I had 2 more kids and continued doing yoga but at a gym because of the need for childcare.  I’d been wanting to get back to a small yoga studio and finally took the leap to become a member at nourishing storm.

What is your favorite yoga pose?
I love variation of crow and handstands

What would you say to a student thinking about starting yoga?
Yoga is a wonderful way to nourish the body and mind and the atmosphere of Nourishing Storm is very positive and caring.  I think yoga is of benefit to everyone and can be modified for any fitness level.  I encourage everyone to do yoga!

What would you say to a student thinking about starting yoga?

I’d tell them it would be the best thing they could ever do for their mind and body. It will make them happier, healthier, and more flexible. Best if all it will help immensely with stress relief. However, they may love it so much that they will become addicted
