Barb Quinby

After raising a family and working for several years as a Human Resources Director in healthcare in central Maine, in 2016, Barb seized the moment to follow her dream, and she returned to Bucks County where she had grown up. Barb opened the doors to the magical Sky Island, a charmingly restored bed and breakfast farmhouse quietly nestled in the middle of 100 acres of preserved farmland, high on a plateau overlooking the Delaware River valley.  

Barb's dream is to offer a place of peace and solitude to anyone interested in travelling a mindful journey.  To enhance that vision, Barb studied for her RYT200 certification right here at Nourishing Storm, graduating in the Spring of 2017.  Barb is also certified to teach yoga Nidra, and offer Aromatherapy with essential oils.  Barb's Tea Ceremony: a practice of peace and grace will be offered at the Winter Wellness day retreat in February 2023.  Come enjoy the wonder of Sky Island!
