She earned a Yin Yoga Teacher Certification in 2009 from Main Line Yoga and soon after completed her 200hr Teacher Certification at Yoga On Main in Manayunk. There she learned Inner Fire Yoga, a stlye of Hatha Yoga encorporating asana, pranayama, mudra, & meditation. She has taught Yin, Hatha and Vinyasa classes but Yin remains her favorite style to practice and to teach. She believes Yin Yoga has powerful transformational abilities and the potential to provide a deep connection with the self. She's committed to sharing the practice so others can experience profound healing and personal growth.

Amy has worked as a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2011. She discovered a love of Myofacial Release and continues to find it the most effective tool to encoporate into her treatments. Her massage style favors deep tissue sculpting, myofacial release and neuromuscular positioning techniques, in combination with appropriate stretching and posture application. She finds that myofascial work and Yin yoga compliment each other beautifully as they both take a subtle approach to provide deep release within the connective tissues.

Amy has a passion for fitness and helping the body function optimally. She has earned personal training certifications as a Corrective Exercise Specialist, a FitForBirth Prenatal Fitness & Corrective Exercise instructor, and later as a Diastasis Core Consultant. She earned a Pre/Perinatal Massage Therapy certification while working as a Certified Massage Therapist in California from 2015-2017, and has bolstered her practice with of a range of modalities including Thai Massage and Reiki. She enthusiastically believes in an integrative approach to health and is committed to helping students and clients find harmony in their bodies and feel their best potential selves.

When she is not doing yoga Amy is cooking, gardening, and enjoying the trails of Pennypack with her dog and family.
