Yoga Instructor

Jess Curtis

Jessica discovered yoga as a teen after finding an old yoga VHS her mom had in the house. She fell in love instantly. She felt she had found a way to nourish her need to flow and move while challenging herself and ignite her spirit. She noticed she kept returning to yoga every time she felt she lost herself. She found a consistent practice after battling postpartum depression and anxiety as she felt it helped her stay grounded, feel whole, and find her inner strength.
Jessica lives on a beautiful summer camp with her family and dog, Fig. She recently left her career as a labor and delivery nurse at Penn but continues to share her knowledge with new parents as a Childbirth educator. She is passionate about her family, plants, music, learning, and yoga.
After a series of traumatic events, Jessica realized she can’t wait around any longer to do something amazing for herself. She decided to jump in feet first to Yoga teacher training at Nourishing Storm and graduated in Fall 2021. Jessica loves creating imaginative, fluid yoga flows that ignite your inner goddess. Her mission for her classes is to, “Create a nourishing space where self-love radiates and self-
expression flows.”
